Pricing, Billing and Payment Questions
How much does DocLauncher cost?
Pricing is based on the amount of data and the number of users.
You can select a plan for the amount of data you need. If you are not sure, you can start small. You can always upgrade if you need more space.
To calculate the price, multiply the plan rate by the number of people in your group (or use our pricing calculator).
Custom plans are available. Please contact our sales team.
Which plan should I pick? How big is 1MB?
1 MB is roughly 100 pages of text in Microsoft Word. It varies depending on the font type and size. To help explain the different sizes, we have the following guide. And remember, you can always start small and increase if you need more space.
The Standard Plan ($1/user/month) includes:
- 1 MB app content
- 10 GB pdf/video storage
Standard is sized for a program guide of about ~100 pages and plenty of room for PDFs.
The Gold Plan ($2/user/month) includes:
- 2 MB app content
- 20 GB pdf/video storage
Gold is sized for a larger program guide ~200 pages or several large guides with plenty of room for PDFs and several videos (videos take up a lot more space than PDFs).
The Platinum Plan ($3/user/month) includes:
- 3 MB app content
- 30 GB pdf/video storage
Platinum is sized for managing multiple apps for multiple groups ~300 pages with plenty of room for PDFs and a large number of videos.
How do I manage my account billing and payments?
When you sign up for DocLauncher, your user has a special role within your organization: Account Owner.
When you activate your DocLauncher account, if you pay by credit card, you will be asked to input your billing information.
The Account Owner is the only user in your organization who can update the billing information. You can do this from the "Billing" action on the DocLauncher Account dashboard.
What if I need to add more users?
When you sign up for DocLauncher, your user has a special role within your organization: Account Owner.
To prevent unauthorized charges, only the Account Owner can change the maximum number of users.
The Account Owner can always increase the maximum number of users from the "Update Plan" action on the DocLauncher Account dashboard.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?
You can choose one of our pay-as-you-go monthly pricing plans that do not require a long-term contract. You can cancel any time. A monthly plan has the added benefit of letting you downgrade and receive a prorated credit at any time.
We also offer annual pricing for a discounted rate. You can upgrade an annual plan at any time, but you can only downgrade your plan in the month before your upcoming renewal for the next year. You have the option to cancel at the end of every year.
What types of payment do you accept?
For monthly payments, we accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover Card and Diners Club.
If you choose to pay annually, we accept major credit cards, listed above. Or, we can invoice you.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits?
Yes, please contact us at [email protected] for more details.
What is the difference between "App Content" and "PDF and Video"?
"App Content" is HTML content (text and images) that you input through the DocLauncher website. When you publish content, it is synced automatically to your subscribers' mobile devices. Once downloaded, it is available and searchable for your subscribers, even when they are offline.
"PDF and Video" are files that you upload through the DocLauncher website. When you publish content, the fact that they are available is synced automatically to your subscribers' mobile devices, but they must be on a network to download and view each file. This is because PDF and Video files can be quite large and take a long time to download. Your subscribers can choose to make any of the PDF or Video files available offline. This is an individual choice because each individual has a different amount of space available on his or her mobile device.
